Best Organic Deals At Costco

Oh organic food. You are such a tricky dichotomy. I need to buy you if I want to be healthy, yet if I buy you - my water might get shut off. And my lights. Eating healthy can mean a bit of a higher grocery bill, unfortunately. So what's a crunchy gal to do.... get a Costco membership. That's what.

If you haven't heard, Costco is a magical place where you save money buying in bulk at wholesale prices. Quick disclaimer: Costco does not = Sam's Club. Sam's is not your ally on this healthy eating journey. Unless your healthy eating journey involves a lot of Famous Amos cookies and Doritos packs, Costco is where it's at. And if you don't have a Costco by you - then join the club! Literally. We live about 45 mins from the nearest Costco, but when you only go there three times a year it's not a big deal considering the money you'll save!

Every time I go to Costco they have tons more healthy and organic items - the excitement of which makes it easier to ignore all the free samples being shoved in my face that I cannot try. So, this is not going to be a complete list of every healthy item offered at Costco - just some of the best organic deals in comparison to the sale prices at my local store for Spring 2015. How much time did y'all think I have? And if you had been at a certain Costco last weekend, you would have seen a long haired girl with a notepad and a calculator, resembling one of those extreme couponer people on TLC. Not everything at a bulk supplier is necessarily a better deal. And see, that's why you need a crunchy person like me around. So here's where we share a moment, and you extend your utter gratitude.
